It’s been a long journey since I started TragicServers 5 years ago. It originally started as a way for me to play games with friends (shoutout to Hooli and friends). That’s all I wanted to do from day one. I never ever imagined that it would turn into what it did and change my life.
I’ll never forget the moment at GXL when someone (forgot who it was, sorry) asked me if I was tragic and just thanked me for providing servers. It was a great moment for me and reassured me of my mission; making it easier for everyone to just play.
As time went on, I started gaining interest in things outside of gaming and servers. It became harder and harder to keep my initial mission. This wasn’t fair to everyone who supported TragicServers by playing, being active or previous customers.
This week I’ll be stepping down and TragicServers will continue forward with a new owner. I’ve spent some time finding the right person to not only continue what I started but do it better. Better for all involved.
It’s been a crazy ride and I’ll be forever thankful for this community. I had a blast playing the game (and half of invite) and being your friendly neighborhood GSP.
As for the future of TragicServers, your current setups will remain the same. No crazy price hikes, setup changes, structure changes, etc. I will still be around for the next 5 or so months making sure everything is running well.
As always, thank you all and feel free to reach to me personally via Steam if you have any questions or concerns. I’ve always been transparent and that won’t ever change. Happy to talk to anyone.

I never thought I'd see the day. Ever since you started TragicServers I've already tried to recommend your service multiple times. Thank you for all the servers you have lent, the cheap prices, and support you've given to the community. I'm also glad that TragicServers will still continue and live on.

I've had a lot of ideas (non-gaming) related throughout the years that I never had time to work on. I might finally get to those with the extra time I'll have. I doubt this would be my last business though. The starting from zero and trying to prove others wrong is incredibly exciting, especially if you're competitive.
