compare to the earlier beta, it's a huge improvement in performance for me
my toaster couldn't even run at lowest setting possible at full screen
now it still run good at 50% resolution

it apparently downloads the update and then the rest is re-verifying the entire install. still, it's a piece of shit launcher and I hope the full game releases on steam.

On low settings with a solid setup (i5/1060) it's fairly smooth for me.

AFAIK its something to do with not utilising VRAM and causing massively long loading times.
