What do you think will be released in the manniversary update? Maybe the long-awaited pyro update, maybe the usual community skins and hats that have comprised the majority of tf2 updates lately. Tell the community your thoughts!
I'm always excited to see the localization files updated, it's like basically the only thing I look forward to
I seriously doubt that there's going to be an update on the 10th.
So basically, I predict that nothing happens and everyone ends up being disappointed for the 5th time.
I stand by my original prediction; Halloween update so they don't have to make a Scream Fortress for the 2nd year in a row.

It will be TF2's 10 year anniversary. Would be a good moment to release a big update...
I predict esea client and servers to be royally fucked and my match to be delayed 4 hours min.
Maybe they'll add a 10th class on the 10th anniversary...
i just realized tf2 came out on my b day, maybe they will give me something special
Friendly reminder that if you expect nothing at all, you can't possibly be disappointed.
either a blogpost tomorrow or nothing until 2018 at the soonest
Valve asks the golden question:
do we shut down tf2 and csgo servers permanently to re-hire half life's writer and release HL3 or keep playing their micro transaction-based games and never get half life 3 released (and cancel the develompent of that dota card game completely "inspired" by hearthstone)

I had the same outlook for the last update and was somehow disappointed.

its probably for the best if they only release a few hats and call it a day

my heart says pyro update but my mind says literally nothing
We will propably get a new hat that replaces party hat and a new noisemaker... or both in a crate that we can unbox
• They will put out a blogpost.
• New crate with 1 or 2 good cosmetics.
• Some sort of new party hat equivalent, maybe glasses in the shape of a "10".
That's it.
Pyro update will come out sometime in the first half of next year and still be disappointing and broken.

to be honest if this update blows after what, a year and a half(?) I reckon I'll probably quit the game for the most part

@tf2_devWhy do people expect us to do something for the 10th Anniversary? You're meant to give us gifts, idiots.

An all-class party horn cosmetic.
Though never forget that Valve actually forgot about HL2's 10th anniversary

They said earlier that they'd put out more blog posts before the update. While they have, I don't think they've done one about the update in a while, so they still might be working on it. If it would come out soon they'd probably make another blog post.

If u really played the game for the updates, u'd have quit a long time ago.
Most people in this community play just because they like the game as it is, although we'd all like to see it grow, obviously.

my payday is on the same day so im hyped cause ive been working a lot....
every single update for the last 5 years has made the game worse
i fully expect the next actual update to break the entire movement system for a week AGAIN

I sometimes think if the devs dont care about the game why should I care ..... FeelsBadMan

I'm old as fuck in this game and I've missed like 3 or 4 seasons in total since when I first started 7 years ago, and I've now played at the same skill level (like low/mid high) for 5 years or so, on every class I'm on that level. I've experienced everything in competition that I can possibly do, because I've known for a long time I'll never be a top player (I have a terrible attitude to improving in tf2, and I struggled to adapt to meta changes anyway)
I've already been on the edge of quitting for like 2 years, it's more like a nail in the coffin thing for me. I only really play for LANs in the first place anymore
