Added what seemed an UNBELIEVABLY SKILLFUL player in a pub after he airshot my Star_ wannabe market gardener attempt (think this had never happened to me before), turned out he needed a demo for his div6 team. The stringent entry criteria was to beat him in pipe mge which I somehow did 20:19.
Played on a NA community server called "TF2 Newbies Only" in 2008.
Played ETF2L highlander challenge
Played UGC NA Steel and we went 8-0 in the first season.
Next season team went to silver and got in
MarxistHugh Laurie
as demo
Couldn't keep up 3am matches so swapped to UGC EU and ETF2L where I played HL exclusively until trying scout in S17.
Attended i52 the next year, followed by Deutschlan 2015+16, then i55/i58/i61, GA 2016 and Rewind 2017

Interest in competitive TF2:
eXtv/SalTV/vanillaTV. First channels that showed up when I searched Competitive TF2 on Youtube at the time. That was about 4 years ago
Starting to play "competitive" TF2:
TF2center after watching streamers play it. I moved away from centers eventually and instead starting to somewhat lead a mix group. The mix group still plays on rare occasions
Being on a team:
ETF2L S28 is my first season. I started in Mid. I got lucky enough to encounter my current teammates in a faceit lobby (edit: Should also mention I played like 5 faceit lobbies. So I got very lucky). They liked me and the same night asked me to merc for a scrim. The next season I started playing with them.
No real reason why I was never on a team before. Never bothered to look for a team because I wanted to play with people I know and like. Luckily I get that chance now :)

ETF2L Community Highlander challenge.
Our community team got really far. Got stomped out by a team with yz50 playing heavy who I didn't know was an invite player at the time.

Lots of older NISLT videos had 6s clips. I started wondering what all those terms/jokes in videls meant + why there were fewer players than in my matches. I started looking around information and found out that they were competetive clips. Then I typed it in YouTube, found Beater's channel and watched lots of Legacies and later full matches of comp
the opportunity to play with TheYellowCellPhone
