I see someone's mentioned the lack of it already, and I didn't see it in the Dota 2 guide. Just for clarification, is dxtory no longer needed/recommended for streaming TF2?
Cool, thanks! I think I'm going to see how my new computer can handle streaming over spring break.
Question for you OBS pros - just started using the new version last night with incredible success (zero drop in in-game FPS 120-250 vs. 20-30 in XSplit) however I have one issue - I run mumble through a second audio source, an Creative Recon3D sound card, separate Windows audio device - game sounds and music go through my build in Realtek audio... does anybody know of a way to mix those two audio sources together? Preferably with software... maybe I'm missing something simple here, but it'd be great to keep the two separate but still get both on stream.
EDIT: Reading about VAC, damn, that's some old ass software which I can imagine works perfectly w/ Win8... ugh.

Never used this before but it might be worth trying: http://jackaudio.org/

Just an oddball problem which I haven't found the answer for- OBS doesn't allow me to use game capture from TF2. When I go to game capture, it shows up in the text box saying that I need to be running thr program as admin to do so, even if I'm logged in as it. If I use 32bit instead of 64 I still get the error for that.

Jack Audio is impossible to use without a phd in linux audio engineering. Virtual Audio Cables is the way to go.
Is it possible for you to make a guide on streaming QL? I Keep having a problem with it, I'm very unexperienced in streaming :C
I've actually messed about with streaming QL. Bassically when I get around to doing TF2, it applies 100% to QL as well.
Original link's down for me. Anyone have a mirror?

I, obviously, can't see what the most recent contents of the article are now since it's down. But if it's still the same as it was when he first released the guide, I'm pretty sure a lot of the the stuff is pretty outdated anyways.
