Maybe because when your scouts die pushing forward enemy is more likely to retake mid? You know, since scouts carry in this meta you don't want them to die while roamer is useless so it's ok if he risks.

I was gonna say something about scouts moving faster but I realised soldiers jump faster and the health you spent jumping could be recovered with ease since space is made, healthpacks are available and your med can arrow you

the speed doesn't really matter if you full or almost-full wipe them on mid, but scouts arrive to 2nd with critheals while sollies dont andsollies are better at denying doorways as people potentially peek 2nd, and ofc scouts give you much faster cap on mid which is usually the slowest cap
