i really appreciate sigafoo trying to promote comp but trying to promote 7v7 is a genuine mistake. 6v6 should be the universal game mode, and I even think valve agrees.

hey, guys, sorry if this is a double post but i've been noticing pootis fazbear's recent lackadaisical production value and i'm worried about it
firstly, we're supposed to believe this is a dialogue; sigafoo is speaking, captioned but speaking. well, what about this?

here, we see 0 decibels meaning no/extraordinarily low audio can be audibly heard by the average human ear. considering that 25db is the "sound of breathing at 1 m distance" (source), and sigafoo looks to be about this distance from the camera, is he talking at a sound level 25db lower than that of breathing? this seems highly unlikely, and it would also be highly unlikely that we, the viewer, would even be able to tell what he's saying.

here, we see the f/stop is set to 5.6. a 5.6 f/stop is a pretty low aperture meaning that the camera's lens is significantly wider. with this, we should have a more focused subject (sigafoo) with a blurrier background. low and behold, everything corresponds to a high f/stop with the background and subject both perfectly in focus.
here's a reference for what a 5.6 f/stop usually looks like.

I don't have any rational issues with this except that he's alienating newer players and promoting his opinion as gospel.

i would like to point out that i argued with sigafoo on reddit about him being obviously upset that esea scrapped open fees, to which he responded by calling me out on twitter and promptly blocking me on both platforms.

7v7 is pretty much just better than Highlander imo and he mains engineer so

The idea as far as i understand it is that Stop watch/"one of each class" cannot work in 6s because there will always be a perma Sniper. How do you get around this? Make it 7s so there can be a perma Spy to kill the Sniper. This forces a Pyro. Which in tern forces a Heavy, ect.

Except that's just wrong because TF2 isn't anywhere close to being a rock-paper-scissor game (Pyro is an awful counter to Spy since the Spycicle and new DR, Scout is way better at tracking a Spy, Sniper's best counter is another Sniper, etc.).
Offclasses help counter a situation (Sentry against a Kritz push), and offclassing isn't the only method to deal with an offclass (Focus-fire takes down a Heavy/Sentry).
