sage_old ozfortress forums are all still up and date all the way back to around 2002, really interesting to read some of the ancient threads if you go looking. First instance of someone saying TF2 is a dead game that I could find was in 2009.

my favorite was going through old pages of the frag vid thread, you could find some really cool videos still uploaded
