Misc. Mouse Questions

1) When your computer's off, the PSU might still provide power to your USB ports (on some motherboards this is a toggleable option in your BIOS), causing your mouse to be lit. This will not wear out your mouse.
2) Wired mice have inherently lower input latency and none of the potential connection/interference issues you might experience with a wireless mouse. As a bonus, no batteries.

smoboTwitch's delay was 5-10 seconds for a long time. Then they suddenly increased it to 30-40 seconds overnight. It's just the way they chose to run their system, not a direct result of the number of users.
