Yeah, all leagues should have a rule for this.

Last night, my team played against Seendio. Despite the match obviously being between an IM team stuck in Open due to ESEA's dumb moveup rules and possibly the worst team in Open, they were very nice about the whole thing. Wish every team was like them. Most are.

However, you'll get teams of varying skill levels that will deliberately try to put the other team at a disadvantage. I wish we could trust people to be nice, but we really can't all the time. :(

I'm a Colts fan, so Seahawks by default. Patriots are a good team though, so I wouldn't be too surprised if they win.

Didn't mean that comment in a bad way; I was just commenting on how long it was taking and relating it to Valve's release schedule. But I realize now that it's offensive to the developers so I will remove it.

Would really love for US TF2Pickup because #tf2mix died, meaning the only open PUGs now are ESEA, which obviously isn't accessible to UGC players unless they're willing to pay for premium. Outside of ESEA, there's only inhouse groups.

It's desktop composition. It forces v-sync, presumably so the animations look good no matter what. This is good for most people, but terrible for gamers since it removes the choice between vsync and no vsync (and now G-Sync and FreeSync).

In Windows 7, you can have specific programs disable it (which is what I do when I run something in a borderless window) or disable it completely by using the Aero Basic theme.

In Windows 8, Aero is replaced with the "Metro" design. With it, they also got rid of Aero Basic (although it's still hidden in the OS) and desktop composition. I believe v-sync was never removed, since most games are played in fullscreen anyway.
