make sure tv_delaymapchange is set to 1 in the STV config next time someone needs to look at it. Did that ever get fixed for the grand finals?

This is why people need to scrim maps. You can't expect PUGs to show how well a map will work in a setting where two teams who actually have played with each other before are trying their hardest to win.
Also, better map choices would have been nice. This was probably the best option aside from voting Warmfront back in.
