Another update has been released.

Changes:
- The time panel now shows up in minmode, without the default TF2 timer picture.
- Killstreak number has been moved to the left of health in minmode
- Disguise panel looks proper in minmode
- The two ugly looking minmode bars for Scout look right in minmode

- The Time Panel does not show up in minmode
- No status effects are shown in minmode (How do I place it? I would say to only make milk visible, as that's the only status effect you may not know you have, the others are either caused by you (Escape Plan) or obvious (Jarate))

> Ugly Bugs (Visual bugs that don't hinder you, but make things look wrong, or blocking information that can be circumvented by the player)
- Disguise menu looks like scrambled eggs in certain resolutions
- Demoman Charge'n'Targe meter won't change in minmode (it exists in a bad spot + it doesn't show with tall = 1)
- Where to place the other 2 inevitable bars? I know where to put them, but now it's the time of making them
- Medic ubercharge is still inconsistent
- Disguises don't show the spy image, relying on the Spy knowing the disguise smoke timing
- Mann vs Machine money doesn't show up right in minmode, neither do spellbooks.

- MvM enemy numbers don't show up in the 'right' font for me (can change, no idea how)
- Sometimes, health stays on Overhealing and Under Half modes (cannot change)
- The location of Charge n' Targe on Minmode (maybe can change, no idea how)
- Target ID of other players suffer from the same color problem (cannot change)
- MvM big numbers (50000) cut off (tried to change this but now requires more wide on the target ID which I will not do)

Why you wouldn't use ImagePanels to make the same effect is weird to me.
If anyone asked me where to get my HUD I would just redirect them to whatever HUD the base came from (in my case eve) because you might have the time to make a nice hud for yourself, but it takes a lot of time to get the hud remade for all the resolutions, or compensate.

New update has been released.

Changes:
- Getting health on minmode looks proper
- Demoman's stickybombs fixed in minmode
- Eyelander, and by extension all other numbered things fixed in minmode (metal)
- Killstreaks in line (bottom of health) in minmode
- Medic charge is now aligned properly
- Minmode medic charge is a number like eyelander heads
- Stickybomb count centered properly (it was aligned east before)

I like the MvM scoreboard the best, because it's compact as heck (think of it as model hacking).
The Bonus appears only when you get bonus, and when it 'breaks', it won't, because you can't get to wave 11 (you wouldn't see the scoreboard at wave 10!), and the A+ to F is up top, leaving room for
refund upgrades. And, you know, anything else Valve implements.

Trying to get the minmode HUD done, I'm thinking of a way to get the bars done in Minmode. Since I already have a 'base', the stickybombs shouldn't be too hard, and neither should the Eyelander heads.

Reserve ammo was annoying to make, because it only supports two things (Shadow and reserve), which is why I couldn't make it neatly outlined like the Ammo in Clip.

The floating character actually lines up perfectly with the disguise box, which is why it's floating.

I added the default timer in, actually, not the other way around. I could add an override to turn it off:

This HUD was created out of e.v.e. HUD's base and merged with Garm3n 8MG's images.
You may have seen some images of how the HUD used to look in the Show your HUD Modifications topic, but this is so heavily modded, files look like crap in the code and are messed up. You can expect this to break when a heavy update comes through. It also heavily relies on what is and isn't in the same spot. Somehow, my HUD crosshair doesn't show up on Minmode.

The screenshots won't exactly be like the download; I have removed the crosshairs and more generalized things instead of spy-biased ones (hitmarker shows up at 0.2 seconds instead of Ambassador's 0.95, "Destruction" instead of "Building Saps", damage doesn't show up next to crosshair, and colors that look way more generalized)

You might see things that look like another HUD in the screenshots (small numbers). It's an experimental really, really small HUD if you turn on minmode. I don't recommend turning it on, because things are still buggy there. It really only works for most Demo loadouts, some Soldier loadouts and all Scout loadouts.

This HUD is best used at Widescreen 10:9. I use 1280x800, (my HUD crosshair doesn't work above it lol) so it probably will work best that way.

#3 Which file edits damage numbers/other questions in Customization
FoxI'm trying to figure out how to alter the base TF2 HUD, and have already downloaded the base HUD from mana's thread, but I can't seem to find the right files to edit.

I'm kind of sick of my HUDs always breaking, so I'm assuming if I only change things like damage numbers and keep the default HUD, I won't have to worry as much about things breaking.

Questions:

Which file alters the damage numbers font/settings? I thought it was just "Resource/UI/HudDamageAccount.res", but just changing things in there didn't seem to work for me :(

What file controls where the health position/ammo count are positioned?

What file controls the spectator borders (the grey boxes on the top and bottom of the screen while spectating)?

What file controls where you can see a targets health in number-form (I.E. not just the health cross)?

Thank you for any help anyone can give me, I eventually do want to work on my own HUD, but at the moment I just want to solve these problems and play with the default until then!

The fonts are set in ClientScheme.res at resource/. Then change the font.

This HUD started from eve, and then I found Garm3nHUD's thumbnail images (8MG)
If there's things you don't see in the images, assume that part is from e.v.e.

Basically, this hud was designed for more eye candy! Yay!
