This whole thing has blown out of proportion. No one hates future or his artwork. His intentions here are good - doing something for the kids with some self-promotion. I can understand that. And then there's the criticism, which he can take it or leave it. Let's not make this thread more complicated than it should be.

RenhetNo, they shouldn't. People should fuck off because they're not entitled to enjoyment out of someone else's art. Can they tell an artist that they are stagnant? Sure. Should they? Fucking no. A lot of the time the artist may even know if they are, but have a multitude of personal reasons behind it. Fuck off and leave people alone.
Unfortunately this is a PUBLIC forum, so therefore people are allowed to give feedback if they want... if you only want positive feedback then make your own site and make your own rules.

xiaobifutureI was honestly trying to help you. I use a 24inch monitor. I can't read anything on your poster, because like you said it's made to look like junk. I don't mean to be too harsh but your poster just has waaay too much to look at. If you're going to use that style of art you should try having a focal point. There's nothing that draws my attention in this drawing or makes it look like you've actually spent time drawing it. I'm sorry that I have to critique your art but you should really evaluate if this is the highest quality product you can produce as an artist, if that is what you aspire to be. If you're just doing this for fun, then keep drawing the same stuff. I just hope you can progress in your art seeing as you've been drawing more or less the same techniques for months without perfecting any of them. This is an outsiders perspective and I wish you the best in your art career.

To me it's a bit hard to read because of the words/letters going up and down in different directions. It took me awhile to figure out the date which was Oct 3rd-4th(?) because the letters were in some funky sizes. This is great stylistic poster but not great for giving out clear and fast info about the event (which is fine if that wasn't the intention of the poster). It's awesome that the proceeds are going to ToTH, I'm glad the community is pulling talents like yours together to contribute to something meaningful.
