I like saying what i think, it gets good feedback from the people who don't like to hear the truth.

Looking to mentor a team/player that has a decent amount of experience (mid open or higher.) That wants to improve, I'm blunt and to the point, might do a low open player / team MAYBE. I play demo for Mad Men / The Muddy Men. Have a good days
I quit because I'm not playing with the people I had fun playing with, and the team isn't the same anymore without blank powah dante unff and me. As of the past 2 weeks I've been having almost 0 fun all together, and I think having fun is the main point of playing video games. Being a serious but fun team was what we were at the start of the season and the end of last season, now it was just me and unff, playing with people who ONLY wanted to make lan, and would do sad things to try and get there.
blinKmasterfulblinKIt's not hard to see which teams shouldn't be in invite and which teams deserve to be there. As far as having "experience" top IM teams play invite teams all the time in scrims and what not. It's really not far off from eachother - you win some, you lose some. The only teams who usually consistently dominate the rest of the pack are Mixup (obviously) and LG. As for the rest you'd want a team with stability and a solid core who are going to suffer through the tough times and continue working through it. Not these mutt invite teams being thrown together 2 days before the invite poll comes out to hope for luck and make it to LAN. Otherwise a month before the season ends they disband yet somehow keep the roster alive to redo the same exact thing the next season. Get "real" hungry teams in invite not just invite caliber pug teams.. That's the point of this post.Powah hadevery intention of going to LAN until his visa was rejected. There is no reason to assume he won't ever get a visa and be able to play at LAN. Frankly, that example is just retarded, even if the point you are making is accurate.
Lets look at nNn. Before they picked up powah the previous season in IM they were the 2nd, maybe 3rd best team. Then with powah they win IM and go invite. Half way through their semi successful invite stint powah leaves because he can't go to LAN. Why play in the first place? Now he's going to join kappows team in IM and give them a better chance to make invite as well and do the same exact thing all over again. Sorry but to me that's just stupid. Kappow had a solid team without powah they should've left the roster as it was. He's basically a temporary high level merc sand bagging lower divisions.
I'm pretty sure they knew from the beginning he wasn't going to LAN which is why mo0se was backing up and going to fill in for him if they made it. That was just an example though. Picking up justin was ideal because he's a similar player.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not hating on powah or nNn he's a great player and they're a great team. I understand the modesty powah but you instantly made them 10x better last season when you joined you're a pretty amazing player.
It just seems like people manipulate the system to keep the same circle jerks consistently flowing in invite instead of letting real teams who have been together step in and give it a shot who are actually hungry to continue moving up.
I don't get how powah made us 10x better. Like yes he made us better because hes an amazing player and good teammate, but damn, if we still beat you being 10x worst, jesus you must be shit. And I also wouldn't talk for other teams if you weren't on it, because the people who know the true story of what happened to each team, are "shocker I know" The players on the actual team!
yes you were powah, we fucking suck without you now

Curb Stomp vs IM 4/5th place team. Hmm the choice is so hard
#7
an invite team which went 0-16 last season, consists of a few select team killers and otherwise low to mid invite players vs an IM team who picked up a top invite demoman and an seasoned invite soldier to improve them over last season. hard choice indeed.
hahahaha fuck you mile we still aren't dead
why would we even have a regular season in the first place if you used that idea. We may as well vote for the top 3 teams of the season at the very start, and then just randomly throw in another team
It seems like everyone is blaming "invite" as a whole, as in all 8 teams, instead of the people who randomly jumped off tf2 without telling anyone ( Weeble ) But that's just one example. Personally, I think once you know you can't make lan, what drives you to keep playing. (Because I know people want to win, not just lose)
It may be different with IM teams that get moved up to invite, do semi decent / winning a few games here and there and trying to improve ( As in all 6 players are new to invite and want to improve as a team, EMG as an example a long time ago? ( **not sure though so don't hold it against me** )
Most of invite is made up of players who have been in invite before, like all of oplaids team (minus tony), most of PW, ducks, my team... etc etc. We'll use ducks as an example ( No hate, just an example. I love you guys ) But if you went like 0-10 or something and now lan was completely out of reach. Would you want to be spending your nights playing tf2 for 1-2 hours or so scrimming for no benefit. (Besides improving chemistry, teamwork etc etc i know i know what you will say.) Or would you spend those 10 or so hours a week you spend playing TF2, and go hangout with friends, family, girlfriend / boyfriend, etc ) This happens a ton in other games too, not just tf2.
Even some players on my own team, (After Dun had to quit playing for school, and Powah couldn't make lan because he can't get his visa.) We were talking about what we were going to do if we kept losing matches after our roster shakeup. And we did bring up just calling it quits because we'd have to start from scratch with our teamwork and chemistry, and learn their playstyles. And this happened in a clutch time of winning or losing can decide if you go to lan or not.
anyways, i just wanted to say my pov on whats happening in invite, I don't think this much shit has ever happened in one season before, but it sucks. shit happens, people can't play, it happens to everyone who plays tf2, (unless you're some fucking nerd who's never missed a scrim or match so far)
saying "fucking two faced faggots"
I don't really care that i got a two day ban, because I mean what I say. But its pretty funny how true it is when I say people are two faced faggots and care about their online image too much.
