ESEAs announcement of waived fees for open is great news. We still plan on supporting in some way, watch this space and hopefully will have a plan soon :)

as part of the tf2 community we all know how important esea is, and how much people pitch in to help pay fees every season, but to people from the outside they don't understand why it's a big deal. tf2 isn't a big scene, but having the opportunity to play the game is really the most basic thing, and the best way i could think of to support our growth. i hope you guys agree.

on that subject (and im not disagreeing with you, it was not the fanciest hotel), i picked the la quinta for the price, but also with places like that they are more lax (usually) with noise. the fact that none of our parties were shut down is still astonishing to me. i don't know what the plan is for this year, but if we dont hear anything official i'll probably book there again.
