as soon as it was clear there'd be no rain the race became really boring. Maybe they should run southeast asia GPs during monsoon season.

honestly i didnt think the race was that bad. hamilton is gonna comfortably win a lot of races this season, thats kind of the reality. the midfield fight looks if anything more interesting than ever though now that ferrari are down there. mercedes have been dominant for years, but the rest of the grid has plenty of close racing and good overtakes, even around a track as shit as hungary
Yeah, I think the only way to enjoy this year is to just accept Hamilton winning pretty much every race and focus on the fights slightly further down. The race for 2nd/3rd/4th/5th is really competitive considering RPs recent advances.
This is all part of Lawrence Stroll's master plan to ensure Lance beats Perez this season and so he looks like he is making the correct choice to keep his son in the team.
Hülkenberg? Vandoorne? Gutiérrez?
whom will it beeeee
whom will it beeeee
Imagine if the Hulk comes back and gets his first podium in the pink merc like 8 years after he crashed out of his best shot at a win in his career with the same team. I can feel the fairy tale ending already.
Lawrence Stroll to buy Vettel out of his Ferrari contract and replace Perez for the rest of the season after infecting Perez
All in the plan
All in the plan
hulk being back is pretty nice. cant wait to watch the not mercedes race
Edge of my seat for those last 3 laps, redbull have got to be kicking themselves for pitting Max
when was the last time you saw a guy winning a race with a blown tire
this is getting beyond ridiculous for hamilton lol

What a finish! Feel sorry for Bottas and Sainz.... Mercedes should've pitted Hamilton on the last lap after max had pitted the lap before

Aaaand once again Hamilton proves to be as lucky as he is good. If this boy dug a hole in his garden, he would find an oil field. Props to him for making it to the finish line, but of course the only one to really pay for a once in a season Mercedes problem was Bottas.

tbf i am not so sure anymore perez is that much better than stroll. sure he's a spoiled rich kid, but like all the others. He's shown decent improvements lately.

verstappen could have won if he didnt stop imo (but his tires may have gone poo poo aswell)
red bull always pit max there though because the chance of it making a difference are one in a thousand. Strolls improved a lot this season, i still rate checo over him but its close than last year/i expected.
also can anyone explain alex albons penalty to me? it didnt affect his position in any way in the end but i really dont understand how he can have his car on the inside of a corner travelling faster than magnussen and be in the wrong when kmag drives straight to the apex. the fuck do the stewards want him to do, just not pass the guy? the most infuriating thing for me though is that it wouldnt have been a penalty if kmag got out of the way and ceded the position. all the rules on the track in f1 are completely arbitrary and compeltely result based and it kinda tilts me sorry for essay

The stewards seem to think that if you get your nose ahead by one millimeter, the car "behind" or alongside should just disappear into thin air. Magnussen lost time hitting the inside kerb too hard and Albon was ¾ alongside Magnussen and gaining, which should give Albon the right to at least some space, but Magnussen just took the apex as if Albon wasn't there. Not the first time Magnussen has crashed while playing chicken with someone who didn't back out. And to think Grosjean didn't get a penalty; that blithering brie-brained baguette will never learn.
