if bans normally start from the start of a season (otherwise players are banned only in the offseason and the bans are not effective), shouldn't habib be banned from the start of playoffs? seems a little biased to me :/

so if habib misses another one in the next 4 years he gets banned for 3 months.

ya, i think rgl also went out of their way to make sure his ban only starts after he plays his last match since the day froyo got the major penalty i looked at everyone's profile and nobody had a ban or pending one, on paper looks like same day but think it was 1am when i saw it. just weird to me that till now demo check bans have all been pretty merciless and instant, idunno what would make this an exception outside of probly bias cuz "o mai gawd its habib!!!"

wait so habib got banned for 2 weeks for not submitting his demos but froyotech didn't play a single match in that time so he essentially gets off with a slap on the wrist? that doesn't sit well with me. I also don't understand how froyo (not just froyo tbh but the playoff delay in general) can go nearly 3 weeks between the last match of the regular season and playoffs. Other teams actually almost had exactly 4 weeks between the end of the regular season and playoffs, i don't get the point of the delay.

RGL has banned people before for not submitting demos but delays the ban until the start of the next season if it's in the middle of the offseason. Why hasn't that been applied here? Someone could miss 4 matches if this 2 week ban was mid-season but in this case, as long as habib doesn't fuck up a third time, it's like nothing ever happened? If someone said the funny word on wG and they get banned for like 3 weeks on November 5th, they also essentially never get truly banned either because their next match is November 30th?

Mustard how on earth is habib getting a slap on the wrist for missing demos nothing to complain about when literally any advanced player wouldn't have the luxury of not missing playoff matches???

Invite teams only had to play 14 matches because of their division size, so they finished one week earlier than everyone else. That doesn't include the buffer week that RGL allows all divisions in case they have to reschedule any match beyond the original eight weeks, so it makes it appear as if Invite took an extended break. The start of playoffs was announced as early as mid-August. It is unfortunate it happens to fall during Thanksgiving week for the US but that's not really their fault. Would you want them to delay it yet another week? Now there's more pressure time-wise since you know there's another arguably more important holiday at the end of December.
