Possible. He was recording demos a couple weeks ago
You can never really say someone definitely didn't cheat, but there's never been real suspicions surrounding morale from what I know. Not even in hindsight (for me personally at least)
Currently hoping a solution can be found if TF2 did launch with some unintentional hooks running, but I doubt his steam acc is recoverable. Support can't interfere with the VAC system afaik and VAC unbans have been very rare over the years
Pretty sure morale had mentioned in the past RCADIA was his final LAN grind? So even if ETF2L admins allow him to come back on an alt idk if he will

This is most likely what happened, but it's worth noting VAC won't actually ban you unless you join a VAC secured server with something injected into your client.
If morale was cheating its very surprising considering VAC is easily bypassed by most good cheats. Plus I've never heard of anyone saying he'd been suspicious. If he does remember joining a server after running some client utility like the demo fixer or whatever then that can be identified as the cause.

If DemoFixer is the program that Pazer made a long time ago, it wouldn't be it. It exclusively opens and writes demo files, it doesn't touch game memory in any way.

Checking around stuff like the tf2 sub-reddit, I might of been one of many in a mass false banning or something.
If this only happened to a single prem player who just happened to be a scout main and playing sniper at the time, then I need you guys to come up with some conspiracy theories.
