Surely an easy way to prove your innocence is to just have both accounts show up in a match log. Grab two friends, set up an ultiduo match, and then you have a log as proof that you're two separate people without having to dox yourselves.

Where we're at with RGL right now since Mothership's comment is that we're being given one final chance to appeal, and are expected to include all relevant proof. The problem is, from my understanding - and I'd love if anyone could correct me on this - that any RGL staff that we're actually able to talk to are not on the Anti-Cheat team, and RGL policy is for admins to not be able to learn about reasoning and evidence for bans for whatever reason. So since apparently AC has some evidence on us that differs from most roommate cases, but no admins know what it is, we have literally no direction on what kind of evidence they want from us. And since it's our last chance, we basically have to either dox ourselves or eat the permaban.

How RGL ended up being structured this way is beyond me. It's such a garbage system vulnerable to all kinds of abuse. If, theoretically, AC didn't actually have evidence, admins would have no way to find out. For all I know from what's been given to me by staff, there could just be someone on their that hates my guts for whatever reason, and not even head admins would have a way to find out.

So, essentially, from my perspective, I'm a trans woman that's basically being forced to provide my deadname and address to someone that, for all I know, has no evidence and is harassing me for being trans. "Dropping the ball on PR" is putting it lightly.

I've shared this concern with staff and haven't heard back. If anyone corrects me and tells me that there actually is a system in place to prevent this, you'd already be telling me way more than any member of staff has about the process.

My point is that this that HL isn't known to be very strict with sandbagging and letting players play in lower divs.
Main Highlander for example alone has 4-5 players who have played invite within the last year.

It wouldn't be out of this world if they allowed Olivia to play IM or even AM if they asked given they haven't played since 2020, hence why there would be literally no need to alt.

The AM team we were both rostered on, Victoria's Secret, was created AFTER she got 2nd in Highlander IM, though it was a prolander team..

good luck with your situation trust me when I say I know how hard it is. The admins love hiding the "evidence" they have despite cases where the person was literally banned for no reason. i understand your desire to play tf2 competitively but you have to understand just how important security is here... if you wish to prove your innocence please send rgl 3 urine samples across 3 weeks, provide blood samples to your doctor and get a full report that you can send to rgl staff, submit your social security number, full bank account information, proof of home ownership, phone number, state ID, and forfeiture of personal liberties so that the rgl wada representatives can test you for PEDs at least twice a week. if you pass these pre-registration tests you will be placed on a 6 month trial period where you can participate in seasonal matches for a chance to win playdoh and lincoln logs. if your results remain clean after the trial period you will finally be able to play tf2 for the grand prize of 25 US dollars. Game on!

Hi everyone! I have a fun update. Just got word back from RGL: the ban won't be lifted. Here's the email I received today.

Here's the accounts listed in the email:

Account 1
Account 2

According to the email, there is a "history of using alternate accounts." So, humor me for a moment, if there's a history of alternate accounts, with these alternate accounts as an example, why are they both inactive, and why do they both only have 1 ban, both of which from today?

Edit: Also of note, if you look back at my roommates account, her only ban listed is the one from christmas day, and the other accounts were banned just today. If she has a history of using these accounts to alt, why were they just banned today, why was she never banned or warned about it before, and why were they banned so much later?

Seems to me like RGL staff were upset that they were wrong and that my appeal was so detailed (it included our lease agreement, my change of address form, our drivers licenses, a picture of us together, gameplay of me and her playing together, and proof that the gameplay took place after the date listed in my change of address form, as well as mail addressed to both of us at the same address.)

Like I'm just so frustrated with this. I've offered to communicate directly with rgl staff the entire time, my account is permanently banned but my roommate's isn't, even if these other 2 accounts that were just banned were her smurfs and she was sandbagging, we've proven that I am a different person anyway, both things can be true, especially since they weren't banned at first. I'm seriously at a loss here. What more can I possibly even do?

Edit 2: Just double checked one of the accounts they sent in the email, Nitsta, every season/cup they played in was before anything on the Krow account. Why is it being brought up now? How could it have been used for sandbagging if it was never used at the same time as the Krow account?

Anti-cheat evidence is kept confidential, and this is intentional. There's literally nothing you can do to reverse your ban unless you buy a yacht for an AC admin or something.

What if you just created another account though? They can't ban you for alting cause that would imply the previously banned account was actually you. The only possible ban they could do is claim you are still an alt of your roommate. But this time, why don't you collect more evidence like live gameplay with cam? Or ask RGL what would be enough (if they care to even answer)? This may seem over the top but honestly, you don't have many options at all.
