The whole stark-white-Times-font-against-a-washed-out-landscape thing you got going on is really neat. And it works perfectly with the greek(?) letters. But three full minutes of sepia sheen is too much. It's like you recorded this at the bottom of a murky lake.
There's a whole universe of music out there--plenty of great songs that fit the mood and pace of your video without being painful to listen to.
This video is like a student film by a great Hollywood director: not particularly good, but it shows a hell of a lot of potential. Which is more than I can say about 99% of video editors out there. There is definitely something about this that really kept my attention.

Most of the editting was pretty good, but some of it like the blood on the screen during melees, and a few of the transitions seemed a bit too distracting to the overall quality of the video. Music choice wasn't bad per se, I just don't feel like it fit the pace of the frags/video.
Still pretty damn good 8/10 would watch again.

you could of done ALOT with this song and theme but you really didnt
also chill out with the film burn and you can bump the offset up a bit more to bring out the colors more, the film burn really did NOT go with the colors and shit

film burn burned out my retinas every time it came on. Otherwise I liked it. Should've corrected your STV footage though, really stuck out to me.

Yeah. Syncing is something I need to work on. I think I was just getting too annoyed at other minor things that I dismissed the idea of adding more syncs (I would still argue I have synced, just perhaps not in the typical way - not that it's necessarily "good" syncing by any means...) in an attempt to try and actually get this finished.
As for the film burns, yeah, definitely overdone it somewhat. I altered the colours of the film burns and the best fitting were blue to pinky-red shades. Problem was they made it look too monotonous. Next best thing were the yellows to red so that's what I settled at.

just a random idea for syncing puporses at like 2:20 when AK says levitate and you couldve chopped and screwed it until you got the kill, maybe chopped and slowed the clip too. that would've been really cool

I think a lot of the criticism here is based on people's preference and not really constructive. I thought the entire video was very well put together, the song complemented the effects well. I don't think the style is in tune with the majority of the community unfortunately, they'd rather see brighter colors and poppier music, like poppier hip-hop or some sort of electronic.

True. That said, preference does to an extent dictate quality and give a better idea on what people enjoy watching allowing me to improve. I tried something slightly different and some people like it, others don't. The next movie I do will by no means follow the "norm", but will hopefully more in tune with what people enjoy. Hopefully I will be able to get higher quality clips across the board and take into account the points people have made.
