restart your computer. make sure your usb connection isn't unplugging/replugging. if all else fails uninstall the DA drivers and deal with having plug-and-play ones forever instead of just reinstalling. if that doesn't help you probably have a defective mouse.

There's a reg edit to turn off acceleration that's innate in windows. That might help?

Thanks, Rake. I think this was the problem. Every time I started TF2, my computer was setting it to real-time priority level. o.O I changed it to normal and it seems to have fixed it.
