Hi.
I was cleaning out my garage today and sometime after I fished I noticed I had to bites in close proximity of each on my lower leg. I've been trying to search on Google for what they might be, but I'm still unsure.
The bites look like two small puss (clear, like a blister) filled pimples surrounded by red skin (slight burning sensation).
I live in the pacific northwest. Washington to be exact.
Can anyone give me an idea of what bit me? Never had this before, so I want to be careful.
Thanks.

i got you
If you get a fever, go to the doctor. Since the blisters are clear don't pop them cause you'll only rush infection.
Your prolly fine unless the flesh starts turning colors or you get a fever, headache, cramps, or have nausea.
I worked as a summer camp medic for three years, kids get bit by shit all the time.

yeah, without a picture, its kinda hard to tell. It could be either harmless or something serious.

you dont need to see a doctor unless after 24 hours, swelling/pain/discoloration has worsened or you start vomitting or fever; as with any other open wound, you should treat the area and keep it clean/covered to avoid infection, etc.
good luck!

to be serious, i'd rather second bsc's post. better to be early and safe than late and dying, i usually use some homemade remedies, usually works, but i'd just go to the doctor as fast as possible.

Thanks for the advice guys. I actually cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, and a few minutes later both pockets popped and the puss ran down my leg...so I guess things are okay as of now...

Do you guys really see a doctor every time you get a bump or a rash? He didn't even say they hurt or itched or anything. Man your doctors must be busy diagnosing bug bites.

it's in off topic and this forum has some pretty smart/helpful people so it's not surprising he'd post something like this here. many people post irl problems here it's not like this forum has to be strictly videogames

you american'ts gotta remember that not everywhere has ridiculous charges for seeing a doctor.
yeah, this might not have been anything big at all, but it was a foreign thing to him and bug bites can be pretty devastating sometimes. when your body suddenly changes and a google search yields nothing, its a pretty good idea to go see a doctor about it.

as an ameriCAN i think the only time ive gone to a doctor in the past 10 years is for physicals and a broken bones
if youre not sure of the potency of the insect species living in your area you have bigger issues than bug bites.
Look up poisonous insects in the Pacific Northwest, check out their bite marks online, put some neosporin on it and call it a day
You might even become spiderman, do you want your doctor to stop you from becoming spiderman?
