might not be the most appropriate place but is there a certain website that has a schedule for i52 with NA timezones, etc? i remember hearing the finals are super early in the morning as well.
That was amazing, congratulations to everyone involved.
Huge props to everyone and anyone that worked on this; the quality and production value easily rival Valve's Free to Play documentary. Just amazing work by everyone. But even putting quality aside, the content itself is enough to give goosebumps. Hoping to see another one of these for i52, but more importantly, hoping that i52 lives up to and exceeds the expectations set by i49. August 22nd can't come soon enough.
This was fantastic. Will you be making one for i52?
As a film grad and a guy who has worked on real documentaries, it's clear to me how much work and preparation went into this. This wasn't just thrown together - it's evident that a huge plan was in place long before the event, and that hard work has been going on since the event happened. Lots of fantastic footage, great interviews, and the music also stood out to me. The SFM stuff was obviously amazing as well, I think that's what put this over the top for me. It tied everything together very well.
Everybody involved - huge love. Can't wait for i52.
EDIT: Also Sideshow's old hair

Beautiful execution and pacing. The SFM animation bumpers connecting with the beginning of the frag POVs was incredible. I was inspired to draw something up for the title:

Became irrationally excited when I heard Lange's voice start narrating. Had no idea he worked on the project.
44 seconds in and this production is already fucking amazing.
Job well done, boys.

This is amazing. It's everything I was hoping for from the i46 documentary and more. Everyone involved deserves huge congratulations.
Also this will probably take the place of Torn ' Experiment video for what I watch when I'm feeling all down about playing tf2.

not watching this until i get home to a proper screen that justifies this
Just finished downloading the 1080 60fps version, can't wait till I get back from work to watch it. :DD
The best E-Sports doc I've ever seen, it all the production value of a professional doc team.
This community really is amazing! Only thing I didn't like was the weird head room on some of the interviews. Other than that, it was an amazing watch, and always kept me interested. I was a little out of the loop when it came to tf2 last summer, so I didn't know how all of i49 played out, but this presented everything perfectly.

Hope you don't mind, but I cross-posted this over on /r/gaming:

This was a great watch, thanks to everyone involved and the amazing support from the community!
The i52 hype is even more real now, so excited :D

Great movie, reminded me of the documentary about Quake 3 with Blokey and Timber created many years ago. Well done to Bones, Cube and all involved :)
It's actually gutting that I can't make i52 this year (friends stag do), considering I think i49 is our best event to date. It will be the first time I have missed a summer I-event in a long time. I know all of the guys involved for this year have been working hard and I will definitely be tuning in when possible.
Excellent job once again.

hey all, just released the directors commentary for the movie. Myself and CUBE thought it would be fun to record our selves doing our first watch through of the movie.
So go check out VHX, its added to the package so if you bought it you will get it for free. More stuff to come which will probably be after i52 now.
Oh yeh and regarding some of the minor audio issues, we are working with Airon on a remix of the audio track to fix a few minor issues. Please remember that Airon pulled a 36 hour shift to get this audio done, which is mainly our fault to be honest as we left audio till the last minute (oops, sorry airon :P)

The three seconds of me shaking Turbo's hand is my only legacy, sick movie lads :)
ArxI do actually agree with the audio level on the voices being too low. If you're listening on speakers where the music is at a reasonably low level, you can't hear the voices really well. When I turned up the volume to hear the voices, the music was then too loud and I had to turn it down again (it was late at night).
It's only fractionally out, but I guess it's down to preference. If I was listening on a high volume (the level where you would normally enjoy music when there's no one to disturb) then it might be fine. The mix in general was amazing.
Other than that, this is the greatest thing I've seen in TF2!
Thanks.
The music is the focus here a lot of the time, and the whole mix is geared towards being played loud, sort of like a club track. The dialogue is the baseline. If you can listen to the interviews comfortably, you're on the right listening volume.
It's not neighbour-friendly, and was never meant to be :) .

I'm rather new to TF2 eSports, but this 'Fragumentary' shows that the community itself isn't dead as some people say.
Creators of this document did magnificent job, keep it up for i52!
