MR_SLINAs a person who participated in the matchmaking beta I can confidently say that a lot of the feedback went back into the game. For example, we asked them to limit ping.

In all honesty people wouldn't be so up in arms (at least in my opinion) if the global whitelist meeting was called incredibly close to the new ESEA season AND Rewind LAN. If I remember correctly, very few or no players on Se7en were in attendance, and there were a few complaints that despite how they had some real life things to take care of, their opinion wasn't taken into consideration.
A simple draft to have sent to these players would have been nice rather than no feedback from them at all. I understand not allowing the "top player privilege" to give others a free pass to not attend but at least giving them a say in the verdict would have been nice.

In all seriousness, I think MR SLIN is a smart guy and genuinely wants the best for tf2, but the way that he is going about it is pretty retarded, and expecting people to bow down to valve after how they have acted for the past years is kind of pathetic.
