mastercomsjetzzzzztried the maxframes config and it gave me pretty bad input lag. I did like how it looked though.
Could you please tell me your specs, and also share tf\log.txt from doing con_logfile log.txt cvarlist.
stabbyI dunno, ProcessLasso calls the cores hyper-threading adds "Non-Physical", not sure whether that's technically accurate. Regardless, I get a performance increase by setting hl2.exe to cores 0;2;4;6 and other processes to 1;3;5;7.
Most of these programs that magically handle your CPU better (like core unparker, and process lasso) are made by people who aren't informed as much as the OS and firmware devs who actually know what they're doing.
No magic to it...you can do everything I use PL for (auto-setting Power Plan to "high performance" when tf2 launches, setting core affinities, setting process priorities) manually, it just automates it. Not sure what to tell you guys other than that I've done benchmarks and setting affinities gives me more frames.
By the way, does the preloading file go in the "custom" folder?

8gb RAM
gtx 960
also what settings would i alter in comanglias config to give it the low lod look your maxframes config has.

Preloading file goes in the mastercoms folder like how it is.
I meant "magically" sarcastically. Most of the time it claims that it is going to just boost CPU performance, but the Windows CPU scheduler is smarter than some third party program. Of course, there are some inefficiencies with it, but especially with the complexities of hyperthreading, I don't think any program will just work.
That being said, I'd like to see comparisons to see how much FPS you're gaining.

I dont have any technical suggestions but personally I'd prefer if the 'Mastercoms cfg loaded' console echo message stood out more. Throw some asterisks or pipes in there imo.

alright heres a question:
how come in certain lighting players look basically unrecognizable in regards to team color? and some props look much darker as well?
https://i.imgur.com/2YTxMOb.png
is there a way to make it brighter?

Not entirely sure what has been causing this, but I believe you can work around this issue for now with mat_mipmaptextures 0. I'll try to find out the cause in a few days, sorry about this.

Calling people to test these launch options to see if they cause TF2 to crash or not:
-tools : hacky way to increase graphical quality
-filmgrain : film grain effect
I will probably never recommend these in actual play.

Hi, well, first of all i installed this config 4 days ago and sadly after that my sensitivity became very inconsistent, as if it had acceleration but not quite. I tried taking away the config, reinstalling team fortress with -default on the launch settings, etc, basically everything, but still i can't quite fix it. Any help troubleshooting this?

Hm, it shouldn't make them silverish by default. Use mat_phong 1.

Hm, in that case I'm not sure. Here are my best guesses, try these one by one, see which one fixes the issue: mat_reducefillrate 0, r_lightaverage 1 or r_ambientboost 1.
