B7 is out. This was mostly a response to some criticism regarding frame-rates on the map from both UGC and ETF2L. I did my best to try and optimize it as much as possible. For this version I removed some unessential props and detail work, put some additional hint brushes in, and put fade distances on some of the props. The layout for ash/coal is still not that great optimization wise, and there isn't much I can do, barring a complete redesign that fundamentally changes how the map plays (and seeing as how I'm pretty comfortable with how it plays, I don't think the redesign is worth it).

PlatinumAmbassador has potential to unlimited headshot .. Diamond back gets one essentially after a kill, why is bannable?
I think the primary difference is that you have to land a headshot, which can be fairly difficult, whereas a free crit that you can hit anywhere with is much easier. Also, I believe you only get a headshot with the ambassador if its the accurate shot which you get for not firing for a second or so. You can't just spam and hope that the spread plunks them in the head, you have to actually wait and then line up the shot to get the crit. Basically, while it might seem like you get unlimited headshots, your fire rate is decreased and you have to really wait for the damage, whereas every other class just pulps the spy instantly.
That being said, I do think you have a point about spy in 6's seeing more play with the diamondback. Landing a backstab is hard enough as is, and rewarding that with a damage boost could lead to some crazy plays.

obe_I can concede that my statistic wasn't relevant. But to be honest, fundamentally, I think it says a lot about the gaming industry when you say that it's economically more sound to create a game with an exclusive male lead than it is to create a game with an exclusive female lead. They function the exact same, it's just a different gendered character the the player controls. But apparently the male dominated market will refuse a game with a female lead and the devs will lose money?
This is why we need more games with female leads. I've never believed that gaming can be respected as a medium if it keeps throwing female characters under the bus in order to pander to the majority of male gamers.

Also have you considered adding the little glass sections that allow you to see under the point back? I always thought those were really nice but they probably do look a tad bit out of place.
Thought about it. Its a combination of them looking out of place, as well as the fact that they would screw with optimization a bit. As it stands, the underneath area is pretty tucked away so it doesn't render unless you have a direct line of sight to the doors, but if you put the glass in, pretty much everything under there renders at all times.
