You provided zero evidence for JFK's "cheating", and you didn't even say what type of cheats. You are putting these players on blast for zero reason and is just a witch hunt.

I apologize for the trouble I caused, I was wrong and clearly did not do enough research to back up the claims of my initial post. I have redacted what I said and would appreciate the removal of this thread.

waterboy526I'm coming on here to post about some suspicions of certain players in the competitive scene that I wanted to bring to light. I've been keeping an eye on these players for a while and wanted to get an opinion from the community as to what others think.

Unfortunately, most of what I am about to present is far from conclusive and more so just pure speculation, but imo it's something worth acknowledging, especially now that there seems to be more players going against RGL's code of conduct that are being brought to light. I don't expect there to be any action taken given the lack of it in more damning cases that have come out, but I figured I'd speak up about it and see other people’s views on it.

First player in question I have is jfk. Allegedly a comp player from the past who has come back into the scene recently, this is a player who has been extremely active in Yoshi's pug website, tf2pugs.com. From those who have played against him in those pugs, as well as in different servers, he has been blatantly cheating for some time. He is seen toggling it during these pugs almost every time whether it's on scout or on sniper, and imo doesn't even try to hide it. There are several logs where this is the case and I would recommend analyzing them to come to a better conclusion. Take any log that he’s had between September 2023 to December 2023, as he performs incredibly without fail. I bring this up, given that at the time of this post being made, he's currently won IM and yet still somehow hasn't been acknowledged despite in my eyes it being obvious in my eyes.

One of many example logs:
https://logs.tf/3498624#76561197975235658
(I’d highly recommend also looking through any other logs before and after)

Next are two accounts that caught my eye that I found to be interesting, yi-ge and yosh1. Two who it seems to be random Asia fortress players who came into RGL almost outta nowhere and win advanced. Initially, I was looking at this log in particular and thought it was suspect, while also acknowledging who these players were playing with. Now what I will say might very possibly be a reach, however I couldn’t ignore my observations and wanted to get more thoughts on this. I believe at least one of these accounts to be shared, and that one of the players to whom it’s possibly being shared to is Elijah. I noted that both of these accounts have the exact same Asia fortress badge as Aimer, having played together previously. But more notably, when these accounts started going active in North American servers, happened to be shortly after Elijah's main account got permanently banned from. For extra context, Elijah officially got banned from RGL on July 16th last year. And then shortly after, the account yi-ge was suddenly playing on North American servers on July 30th of last year, separating both events by less than 2 weeks. Following those events, these accounts suddenly start playing with the same friend group of which made the infamous chatCCP team, making a 4s team on UGC under the name of GlobalClan XIAO with those players, and then after that forming the XIAO team under the RGL league being run by aimer. Given that most of the players of the XIAO team have previously played for chatCCP, which involve the same group of people that are close associates with Elijah and his group, I couldn’t ignore what was being presented. While the playstyles and aim on both accounts are definitely suspicious, I find the activity of who these players play with to be more questionable. And given that these accounts have previously played with Aimer under the Asia Fortress league, I can’t help but feel like he is also directly involved. Once again, everything being presented here is just what I’ve gathered upon my own investigation, and could be a reach. But given the activity pattern and how it all happens to line up perfectly, I believe it’s worth acknowledging and further looked into.

Hi I usually just lurk around on this website but this post seems to involve 2 of my friends so here goes:
I have known yi-ge aka submarine and yosh1 aka Jamal since 2019. I have captained and played on multiple teams with both of them since. They are both very skilled players and also know each other personally. I am going to briefly debunk some of the accusations against them to avoid an unnecessary witch hunt smile :)

1. Two who it seems to be random Asia fortress players who came into RGL almost outta nowhere and win advanced.
-Jamal and I have gotten 2nd and 3rd place in asiafortress division 1 (the highest in afc we don't have Prem/invite) and he was easily the best player on our team. Submarine was also part of those teams and has been playing in div1 pugs for years now and has also been a Prem/invite level hl sniper for a while. They (as I mentioned earlier know each other personally and are from the same part of the world) moved to the US at the same time for uni, hence why the random sudden appearance and immediate association.

2. I noted that both of these accounts have the exact same Asia fortress badge as Aimer, having played together previously.
- Same badges cause same team. During afc 19, aimer was briefly in Asia and during the time he was a multi class sub on our team (afc used to host on match.tf which is since gone so I can't link our teampage but you can easily find evidence from logs.tf/dev by searching for their names) and this was how the 3 got to know each other (aside from pugs n stuff). The plans for the 3 to play together have been in the making long before anything regarding Elijah was ongoing, and it's mere coincidence that the 2 of them moving to the US was very close to Elijah getting banned.

I am not going to quote and explain all the further points because they seem to just go around in circles over the same points. Tldr is yosh1 and submarine are very good Asian players who moved to the US at the same time for start of uni and with the help of their friend aimer they played in a division that was more likely to reflect on their skill level rather contribute to your region's incredible sandbagging problem, I would appreciate it if you avoid making blanket statements like "suspicious aim and playstyle" that would ruin their name for no reason before they make a name for themselves in NA cause God knows no one cares about Asian tf2 skill level. Godspeed.

If you were really worried about the authenticity of the accounts belonging to jamal and submarine, wouldn't you want to contact someone from asiafort to present your findings or at least do some research for context?

Would easily prevent this frankly embarrassing post to reach tftv, though I guess it doesn't matter since you won't put your name on the accusations you lay out.

Back when I was actively hosting pugs, Jfk came across as a suspicious player. Not only by me but a lot of the better players who participated in the pugs. We started watching him and collecting some evidence that we thought was suspicious. Unfortunately one of my mods dropped the ball and basically told him that we suspected him of cheating and were collecting evidence on him.

https://youtu.be/g5r08D8-0N4

Demos used in the video.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Op-yzp_UAUdTEotNAMTSNz6MW4OYQL4Q?usp=sharing

I'll be honest and say there's only 2 clips that are pretty strong evidence. The rest can be explained away with decent arguments of latency or something that could be cleared up from POV demo's. So I'll go further on why I am suspicious of JFK.

When I met him, he was pretty new to competitive. He mainly played in Yoshi pugs and had like 50 logs under his belt. Played like a complete bot. Didn't know where to hold and fed like any dm heavy scout would. However, he won 90% of his fights. If you met him on the flank you lost that fight. The only time he'd die was when multiple people shot him.
He consistently got 30 to 40 kills per game against main and advance players. He always had perfect timing for people around walls, knew when people werent paying attention, and didn't play the game that well outside of DM.

When we talked with JFk to learn a little about the dude, he explained to us that his dad gave him his steam profile. thats why its so old and has so many hours on Tf2. A friend of mine explained that it could be a bought account. I dont know much about that sort of stuff but its on the table. Also he has an old Firepowered trade server ban for cheating. Which isn't saying much because I'm sure a lot of the classy mge grinders in here could get one of those but again, its on the table.

More so, K1ng, Rex and I did some 2v2 mge with Jfk and whoever had Jfk on their team, won. Every single time. Wasnt even close. The dude just doesn't miss. Now for some subjective arguments. I never saw jfk on mge before 5 months ago. Like, look at his first logs and then think about that time in mge servers. I've never seen him grinding. He's not a known mge lord. He could've got really good on private servers with friends. Can any of those people step forward and say that they knew him before he got any kind of good? Are there any known players who were really good at other FPS shooters, came to tf2 and were as good as Jfk is now? Can he show any hours on Aimlabs or Kovaaks?

Finally, lets take a look at all of the classes and things he plays in pugs and scrims. They are all hitscan or hitscan adjacent. Anything that would benefit from aimlock and walls. He's not a very good player. He's grown for sure since his Yoshi pugs days but about as much as any player would without the DM.

Oh yeah when I banned jfk from my pugs for being a cheater he said I could do a PC check. Like I could go through his files via some kind of screenshare program. Then a friend informed me later on that theres a way to have cheats installed on a USB and all he'd have to do is just unplug it. It feels like jfk is pretty good at cheating and has taken a few precautions to not get caught. Now he plays in RGL pugs and Tf2cc pugs. Whenever I chat with people about him they always mention how that guy feels like a cheater.

You know what would clear everything up? Lets all show up to a local starbucks parking lot and watch him blast some newbs in real time on a donated PC. If he showed to be the DM badass that he is with that kind of proof I'd pay him 5k keys and post a youtube apology video.

I’m not immediately opposed to being suspect of players who come out of nowhere and start dominating their div, but I also don’t think stv’s of someone hiding their dot on sniper or turning around to watch their back when there is obviously a player in lobby is substantive evidence. Though, I encourage you to continue looking if your conviction is this strong.

I don't think that was part of the video. There is some commentary as part of the clips to explain whats going on and what suspected cheating is happening.
