Hey mate, awesome work! Really neat, brand new ideas in here. I understand you are close to release and it is indeed your HUD, however I would like to offer a few possibly beneficial ideas in hopes of bringing the full potential of the HUD out:

• Moving the chat to the right side under the killfeed and moving the killstreak centered below the crosshair at the bottom. This would prevent chat from overlapping the engi stuff, and keep the semi-important stuff together.
  
• A more compact, left-aligned scoreboard, similar to this, of course within the style of the HUD. The current scoreboard seems a hassle to look at and during a match a scoreboard like the example would give easy, quick access without sacrificing as much screen space.
  
• Similar shadow of health and ammo boxes with the killstreak box as well.
  
• Minimal transparency on the gray health/ammo boxes (Hopefully wouldn't contrast awfully w/ rest of HUD).

Best of luck with the HUD and I can't wait to see the release! I'm hoping some of these suggestions are beneficial to you. I can't wait to play with the HUD.

Try to change the font the font is like a bit smesi and a bit ahud

if the buttons and icons are fonts, i would def add anti aliasing to them
ingame things are a little too close together
the blur shadows don't rly fit in with the metro ui theme u have
player lists and stuff could be a lil more centered so it'd be easier to see and so it wouldn't clip with the killfeed

nah the icons arent fonts because then they wouldnt be able to be changed on hover; if anyone had tips on how to make source scale down images better id love to hear
the blur shadows look real nice though :( theyre easily disableable, if someone really wants to play tf2 lookin like a zune HD
i think ill make a minmode toggle for the scoreboard, i really like it out of the way in the scoreboard but i agree that it clipping with the killfeed is dumb(as it is right now, the killfeed is hidden while the scoreboard is open so it doesnt look too awful)

Looks really well done, the source scheme looks incredible. I'd really like a version where the health/ammo are in broesel positioning.

cl_hud_minmode 1 for a little bit of extra breathing room on the hud elements? i personally like having hud tunnelvision but this is a bit more akin to huds like broesel :)
i also turned down the transparency on the drop shadows, so still good for visibility but dont ruin the asthetics as much

I don't personally like huds that use straight black (0 0 0 255 or 1 1 1 255), i would rather use like a dark gray or something (34 34 34 255)

Also you should add some capitalization and maybe change the font for the main menu.
