I'm on a mac (hope I don't sound too much like Pistola here), and the client doesn't work for macs. Are there any plans to create a client for macs, or to make a fix or change anywhere?

I'm on a mac (hope I don't sound too much like Pistola here), and the client doesn't work for macs. Are there any plans to create a client for macs, or to make a fix or change anywhere?
Probably a question better asked on the ESEA forums, but I don't think there are any plans to add Mac compatibility. Your best bet is to Boot Camp into Windows if you plan to play in ESEA

ESEA is a service appealing primarily to competitive players (or minimally, players who care about not playing with cheaters) and attempting to support a variety of rare configurations makes it significantly more difficult to enforce a fair and balanced gameplay environment. On that note linux will not be supported any time soon.

No. Macs are horrible for clients, they always fuck up because of the OS operating system. Windows computers are a lot better for gaming because it's been around and there are so many coders for windows systems.......GET A PC!!!

Have you thought about using boot camp to dual boot your mac? Not sure how efficiently your tf2 would run. But it might be something to look into.

I have a macbook pro that I dual boot windows 7 with. The windows version of TF2 runs significantly better than in mac: more fps, no mouse lag, faster load times.

It's very easy to install bootcamp and windows as well. There is no reason to play tf2 in osx unless you don't play competitively and don't care about getting the best performance you can.
