Im gonna get hate for saying this, but I know a lot of people who are currently enjoying dota or league of legends.

Massive update in dota and arena gamemode in league (temporary gamemode tho) makes them much more fun rn.

I enjoyed the Witcher series recently and it's something you could try, it shouldn't be expensive
you could try cyberpunk 2077 too - it's way less buggy than at the beginning, has a great story and it's guaranteed 60 hrs of play with the dlc
