its awkward if youre not used to it, but clockwork isnt the only one that plays like that. it came from quake and its called russian style. the mouse is sideways so you can anchor your elbow on the desk for stability which also makes the mouse centered infront of your body so most ppl put keyboard on the lap. its also been said that polosatiy (russian quake player) was the first one to play like this cause he had an arm injury and it was uncomfortable on the desk and everyone copied his style =)
