Is Satan really the UNQUESTIONABLE best pyro? Huey Lewis and Cygnus are pretty great. I don't know who is the best, but I don't think anyone is unquestionably the best. Also, what happened to Fathom, he used to be my favorite pyro to watch.

There's no denying that the people you mentioned are good, but if you ask any high level player who the best pyro is, at least in terms of DM, it's undeniably satan. That dude is a monster.

Its....hard to say why. From playing against him it is the insane DM and gamesense, but at other times he comes from the flanks at perfect times to fuck us. It seems like he is always in the right place at the right time. Where TMP is almost exclusively aggressive, Satan finds the perfect balance, and has the DM of TMP to match it.

TMP preaches by Satan's gameplay. From the perspective of every other pyro in plat, I have heard nothing negative about Satan.

(Using TMP as a reference simply because the conversations came up all the time in s9)

Fathom is not starting this season after the death of DeathForce9. Rumors are that DC mercilessly killed off the team after losing in MGE, but I don't know if that is true.

But yea, fathom is on mTs' roster right now, whether he is going to start or not is undetermined.

If you look at the heal discrepancy between the two heavies you'll figure out where Satan was able to get those heals from.

Good article except for the rankings. The idea that anyone would think mustardoverlord has any informed opinion on who's the best at each class is unsettling. Besides in the end who's the best on one class is not very consequential. I guess it is fun to argue about it though =/

Yeah but Pudding cup put out almost 2000 more heals AND the heavy with less heals ranked better in every possible way. Obviously stats aren't everything but it isn't like their heavy is suffering as a result.

That log is just our team getting pooped on honestly. It wasn't a 5-5. It was a 5-0, team switch, 5-0. Logs can't really show the timing of deaths, and when your more important players die at bad times it opens up a ton of opportunities for everyone on the other team to go crazy, regardless of heals.

Satan is the best though :)

I was disappointed in the appraisal of Frank West, whom I consider to be easily one of the top five spies and one of the top ten smartest players, he'll pick up his gameplay during the season. Also I'm hoping to see a top tier Djc frag video with sick reflects and crazy pyro plays ;)

frank west has consistently been the worst spy in platinum since his first season on ginyu, I wouldn't count on it
