I think everybody in the show has some sort of justification for how they behave, even if we don't like them for it.
Marie wants Walt arrested, she tried to steal Walt's baby, but she did those things because she legitimately believes Walter is a danger to his family and the people around him. She slapped Skyler because she thinks that Skyler's silence was what caused Hank to become bed bound for months. She's easy to dislike because she opposes the "protagonist" we identify with, but yeah.
I have to agree with Renzxen though, Hank's only motive is pride and revenge, so he's actually justifiably a dick.
My attachment to Walter has waned with everything he does. His reason was good, family, but it became pride and hoarding more money than they could ever even use, and because of that put himself and his family in danger.
Jesse has a lot of issues but he feels like the least dickish character. I don't think it's so much a personal revenge for prideful reasons, he's genuinely upset that Walter harmed a child, just like he was with Fring's two men who were killed, and is afraid he will harm more innocent people. Judging Jesse by how he reacted when shooting Gale, he has a stronger aversion than anybody else to harming innocent people.

Walt would rather go to jail than have Hank killed. He risked his life for Jesse over and over again. Walt cares more about family and loyalty than Hank or Jesse. They are vindictive pieces of trash whose only motivation is revenge.

I think so too. It's implied he lost the rest of his family anyways (reputation, possibly lives), so Jesse is the only thing I could see still giving Walt's life meaning.
Also, I don't get why they decided to do a shootout where nobody gets visibly hit or anything.

just finished season 4, and I gotta say, albeit the series is extremely depressing(and I'm an emotional man), these kinds of stories are what I love. Characters that are just that: people, not good or evil, they're complex. Even if some characters try to stick towards doing good or bad things, that doesn't define them as a person.

my prediction for the final 2 episodes...
episode 15 is going to jump ahead 6 months or so to where we saw walt in those flash forwards earlier in the season. Its going to either open with "6 months later" or its going to jump early on in the episode. I cant see them ending the show only doing 1 episode in the flash forward time frame.
As for the story... Jesse is still a slave meth cook for jack and todd. The czechs have been mad about the poor quality of the meth, and maybe jesse isnt cooking as well so the czechs finally get fed up and threaten to kill everyone if the meth quality doesnt improve. Jack goes after Walts family to force him out of hiding to cook (maybe they kill Skyler, and or junior/holly) Walt wants revenge agaisnt Jack for everything and goes after them. Walt kills everyone, finds jesse still alive and rescues him. As soon as hes freed, he turns around and kills walt. He walks outside and get shot in the back of the head by Todd.
Im calling it now... breaking bad will end like the departed lol

I wonder if he will go back and try and save Jessie. I don't see how he would have such a rapid change of heart after the Jane incident.
