My issues have been expressed here adequately by others. Since Dr.Shdwpuppet is on the information system problem, I'll start thinking of entertainment options for the downtimes. Got some ideas.
From a stream viewers perspective of things nothing bothered me besides the long wait times, which was already addressed.
One thing that really bugged me and still bugs me is the layout of the CEVO website. The whole website is confusing. The sidebar takes you to CS, and finding the brackets/finding what teams were playing was a nightmare. Even if you found the brackets on the website they were never updated. But that is out of your control. CEVO cares about TF2, but they care more about CS. Which is understandable since it has a huge player base. I just wanted to see the brackets without having to wait for someone to post challonge link in chat. I guess that could be fixed by putting the challonge links into the announcements.

Next LAN just give me and Buick a camera and we'll run around doing stupid interviews and meeting the players/attendees to fill up time between matches and fill pauses etc.
I was semi trolling when I started writing this post but to be honest this sounds like it wouldve been awesome.

instead of waiting screens, maybe send someone to interview some of the spectators
renxzeninstead of waiting screens, maybe send someone to interview some of the spectators, kinda like a reporter style, we want to live the experience
That's a fantastic idea. Good thinking.
I really appreciate everyone's input here. This past GXL was fantastic, but we will make GXL '15 that much better with everyone's input. I can't wait.

It was my understanding prior to the event that I'd be doing this. My understanding was we had a wireless mic for me for this purpose, I'd have my own camera person, etc. I was really excited to do just this at LAN.
Unfortunately, two things.. I obviously had to fill in and do a lot of casting, and secondly, whether it was forgotten or abandoned in all the busy times/madness or whatever, interviews in this style sort of fell by the wayside. Maybe someone knows better than me what happened to this.

My Yurrpeon perspective:
The Good:
- The TEZC boys, most fun I've had at any LAN
- Flying Premium Economy with Virgin Atlantic, spoiled for life now
- Location, loved Phoenixville and the stores/restaurants close to the venue
- People, y'all so friendly!
- Everyone in the organisation, all so busy and nice. Helping us out however they could
- Playing with the DSLR video rig
- The nervous look on Tagg's face whenever he borrowed my camera
- Lange hugs
- Meeting eXtine. It's always the people getting the most shit online that are so nice and hard working at these events. (Hi Byte!)
- Everyone doing stream production and casting. The amount of work these guys put in is insane. And all that effort paid off, the stream looked amazing and very professional. Loved seeing all the backend stuff specifically written for GXL. Awesome what just a few coders and designers managed to make just for this LAN.
The bad:
- Internet connection. Really well managed/filtered, but just not fast enough. One external IP is pretty risky too. Probably the best you could get at the venue.
Glad I work for an American wireless internet provider and brought a backup ;)
- CEVO computers. We were told we could use these on Saturday. We fixed 6 broken ones that could no longer be used, only for them to be taken from us a few hours later so the CS:GO 'BYOC' boys could play. The actual computers were really good once we fixed them though.
Forgot a lot of good stuff and people I met

Prearranged seating would have been pretty cool. I'd have been willing to pay more to not be at the far end of the venue from most of the action. Between the number of people we had to crawl over to get to anything and the weird timings of matches during the tournament I felt like I had to be glued to my seat.

It was actually the best part of the LAN. Loved the Moose, loved 212, love PJ Ryans and loved the Bridge.

Got 2 splinters from the tables :(
I understand the logistics of chairs but the chairs the Pro players were using were nice. Can that just be an upgrade option during registration please?

I do like the idea of various upgrade options during registration to improve the level of comfort/logistics throughout the LAN. So like Sylon said maybe a chair upgrade, reserved seating, etc.
Actually something else I just remembered that kind of bugged me, we didn't have access to outside mumbles. I was hoping to connect with some of my clanmates that couldn't make it for late night pugs or play in some TF2 Centers.
the only things that I can think of is a couple more trash bins. They where quite full. Secondly instead of using yellow tape next time please use a table to stop people from running on the power cables.

Due to networking concerns, this was determined to not be an option. I can bring it back up with the network/hardware guy for '15 but he was VERY adamant about how the network would be setup and what would and wouldn't be accessible from the outside.
