QunAdmirableQunt, are you saying that if we played TF2 cups on ESL we could relight the fire?I'm afraid it's too late now. Maybe when the new website is fully launched, it would be less complicated for people to use it. For now, we'll bump in to the same problems. Wire hasn't been adjusted for TF2 in years.

I'll talk to some ESL people if the new site is live. Convince them to run some stuff without Wire and then do some test cups with Wire to see if we find any bugs.

FYI, I work for ESL TV, not ESL, so I don't have a lot of influence on the leagues. But I might be able to do a TF2 show in my free time.

Wire doesn't need to be adjusted for any game. It's designed in a way that it should work for any games without the need of any modifications. Wire works the same way no matter the game is, so if there is a bug, all games are affected.

EDIT: This may not be true in some very specific cases, but for Steam games, or even Valve games there shouldn't be any difference.

Update (4.43):
- Added tftrue_logs_roundend to upload logs at every round end instead of every map/tournament end. It is disabled by default.
- Fixed tournament team names being incorrect in the demo names/logs if they haven’t been changed from the default ones after a map change.

CygnastyLoving TFTrue, I love how you just need to install it and a config and you're set.

However, any time I exec a .cfg it changes the map to a random map, usually cp_Steel though I think I remember seeing something else once. Is this intentional, to ensure STV is recording or something? If so I guess I can just live with it, but it's kind of annoying if someone on either team didn't know we started or sometihng and asks for a re-exec and everyone has to reload the entire map instead of a quick re-exec.

I can't see why it would change the map to a random map. It only reloads the _current_ map if needed (sv_pure change, tv_enable change). Do you have any other plugins?

This means it timed out while trying to upload. There is/was a connectivity issue somewhere.

Update (4.4):
- Support Logs.tf Spec v2.0 (Medic Stats, etc).
- Support Logs.tf Spec v2.1 (Weapon accuracies) with the tftrue_logs_accuracy cvar, which is disabled by default, because I think logging that much info (shots fired/hit) can cause performance issues, but you’re free to try it.
- Changed download location for ETF2L whitelists to ETF2L site
- Added the plugin name to the “uploader” field for logs.tf
- Prevent from trying to upload the log twice when mp_winlimit is set (it fires twice the end round event)
- Added tftrue_tv_prefix to set a prefix to auto recorded STV demos
- Added etf2l_golden_cap.cfg to the list of configs to download

Oddly enough it start recording start prior to readying up and after the match has completed. Also, at times a new will not be created even if the map has been changed and a config has been executed.

One final oddity. I will change a map (ex: pl_badwater) and execute the ugc config. The config will execute a map change to Hydro. I, then, have to change the map back.

I need to check over the ugc configs but it something I wanted to bring to your attention.

I've never seen a log not getting recreated on map change, that's weird. The game is supposed to do this automatically, not TFTrue. I could look into it if you find a way to reproduce though.

A map change to hydro? I've never experienced this either. Do you have any other plugins on your server?

These are the only plugins I have installed.

Any way to stop this from happening?

The new logging features have only been tested with bots so far (which don’t show up correctly on logs.tf), so there might be a few bugs. Please report them here.
