better lookin than dota demon
MightyMeValve sure knows its marketing, that was amazing.
Also I don't play Dota, but that play Dendi made at 1:05:40 was fucking sick, pretty much winning the finals for them there.
Yea they did a really good job with the cinematography for the match footage. Don't need to know much about DOTA to understand that it was a good play

Wow, this was a very interesting watch. I've never touched DOTA, but the way they showed the plays made them seem as fantastic as the probably were live.
Also, damn, I was aware that China had scary competitive teams, but not that scary.

That was utterly amazing.

Yeah, to be honest I already knew Fear/Dendis pretty much (cept the thing with his dad which was pretty touching), I knew a bit of Hyhy's but I didn't know anything about his girlfriend really, so I'm prolly biased. They're all really good stories though of course.

Even his mom is pretty hot. Or maybe I'm just getting old.

To me I think hyhy's story was most moving because it felt like he was putting the most effort in, and getting the shit end of everything in the end.
tbh i didnt even know his team got 3rd. he moved to league for a year and came back rather recently
as someone that has no interest in dota, i found this movie very enjoyable to watch.
This is more along the lines of what I hoped the TF2 documentary would be like. I've never enjoyed dota or games like it but this was an awesome documentary. Really well done.

hyhy seems like such a great person. even though i can't relate, his segment at ~29m was extremely touching.

The emotional weight of the movie is hinged on the fact that so much money is on the line. For most people who don't follow competitive video games money is the only thing that justifies all the time spent gaming.

The whole Navi vs eHome part was so captivating and very well made. Didn't understand anything that was going on but it was still amazing.

nahkakakkoneThat was a lot of disappointed parents.
idk, only hyhy's parents seemed super disappointed in their kid, all the other parents seemed pretty proud of their child

He told him to stay in the trees
You could see the pain in his eyes as he realized he wasn't going to be able to call.
Good thing he stopped being a pussy bitch that relied on a game as his "claim to fame" and went and got her back.
It was a good watch, too bad I chose 4am to do it.

going to get turded on for necro'ing this, but just finished.
hyhy's story was amazing and the others were pretty cool too.
found it one of the best documentaries I've watched in quite a while.
as weird as it sounds there are quite a bit of hardships for people pursuing gaming careers, and it was highlighted pretty well in the movie.
