Could I include this in my next "everything pack" update?
Nice work.

hektikEdit: Also, if I set "Sensitivity" as "3.49" next time I open the driver it will say "349", missing the dot. Is this normal?
That would be your Brazilian localization interpreting , as the decimal point and . as the "thousands separator".

Sorry to necro, but I was wondering if anybody uses this with the esea client? It works fine but esea won't let me in while I'm in test mode. Is there any way around this?

you dont need to be in test mode to use the driver

When I disable test mode my mouse stops working, did I miss a step?

ESEA disabled drivers signed with test mode in a recent update. Not sure this is affected but I assume it is.

I barely remember setting this up around 2 years ago and it took 3 restarts to get out of test mode for whatever reason. Fucked me over match wise last night so just remember to do this b4 your match. I'm not very good with computer stuff so maybe I'm the only idiot effected.
The cmd commands are
bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF
If anyone needs em.
Edit: also dolphin rider but a .batch file somewhere on my computer. I was told it was annoying bcuz I have win7 home premium. So if this doesn't work message dolphin for help or message me and I'll put u in touch with him.

Well that sucks. Maybe Valve can put a working version of accel into their game.
edit: maybe its possible to implement accel via rinput?

Just to make sure, have you checked if you can still use it recently, and in 32bit or 64? Even after esea stopped test mode from being possible? http://play.esea.net/index.php?s=forums&d=topic&id=634716

I can't do anything despite the cmd prompt.
Remember to do a hard reboot AFTER you do the cmd fixes. That should help you out a bit.

Hello,
sorry for the bump. I like watching db mew's videos and he uses this driver.
I'm using the acceleration in TF2 and I'm attracted to test QLaccel. But, I miss some informations.
The notices varied according to the sensibilities from players. I read the whole of subjet and some problems met by some players make me doubt.
I tried to have feedbacks about this driver on french forum but nobody tested it.
Actually, can i have some feedbacks from european players about QLaccel ? Have we to stay in test mode again ? Are there no problem with steam with this driver ?
Thank you ;)
( sorry for my horrible english :s )

Hello Wonderland.
Thank you for your answer.
I installed the driver. It's working well !
I was just surprised because I didn't get warning message about unsigned driver, contrary to the video. I'm on win7 64bit.
EDIT : spoke so quickly... Worked at a moment and now, it's the contrary.
I don't understand, the values changed in regedit but didn't affect the game. I modified the sensibility on the game and since, no acceleration. I saved several configurations on povomouse but no one is considered. I'm going to try a reboot.
2nd EDIT : I'm trying to delete the driver. I'm following the steps but the console refuse to delete the package : pvh. I'm going to reset the computer... I think I have to reinstall each time the driver...

Update
I've been working on an alternative method of implementing good mouse accel at the driver stage that doesn't require test mode or paying a lot of money for an EV code signing certificate. I discovered a driver/library called Interception which enables such a thing to happen.
Interception installs 2 upper filter drivers (keyboard.sys and mouse.sys, fully signed) for kbdclass and mouclass devices, which allows user-mode applications (which have no signing requirement) to manipulate keyboard/mouse events at the driver level. I wrote a very simple console application which interfaces with the interception mouse filter driver and applies the quake live accel algorithm.
Kovaak (author of the amazing GUI for my previous kernel mode filter driver) has updated his GUI to support this new method. He has also started up a blog about mouse acceleration for gaming, which includes information and downloads for accel driver related things. Here's a link to this new /!\ TEST /!\ version.
http://mouseaccel.blogspot.com.au/2015/12/new-method-for-mouse-acceleration.html
Kovaak has some concerns about this interception library triggering anti-cheat scanners. There is certainly no guarantee that anything is safe from triggering VAC, but logically this new method is significantly less 'dodgy' than the previous driver which to my knowledge never triggered any anti-cheat. Use at your own risk. Also the source is provided so check it out if you want.

I know Kovaak has been doing a lot of testing of this accel driver in reflex. Good to see a first version done.

Keep up the good work! I've always missed being able to use (quake) accel that doesn't demolish your aim. It just seems ridiculous that a major peripheral company hasn't tagged something like this on their drivers but I guess low sens/accel users are in the minority.

Has anyone installed the new version Windows 10 yet? Is it working as it should?

It works, but I wouldn't recommend using DSEO to put your computer in test mode, as it seems to do so only for the next restart. After that you end up with a non-working mouse and will have to go into advanced startup to disable signature enforcement again. Instead of DSEO, open a command shell with admin priveleges and enter
bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
That will basically accomplish the same thing(disabling signature enforcement, and enabling test mode) and you can then follow the remaining steps.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to bother with Test Mode anymore since the new method uses a signed driver. It was my understanding that the whole point of running Windows 64 bit in Test Mode was to allow the use of unsigned drivers.
Also I'm unreasonably excited about this, I loved the old driver.

Doesn't the guy who maintains the client browse TF.TV on occasion? Or do people usually point him to threads?

Yeah, just me providing redundant information because I'm still using b7

Thank you povohat, the driver has come a long way.
UI is very intuitive and functional. Great addition to the program. Tooltips are a huge help, now I don't have to keep Notepadd++ open with the readme.
No longer requiring test mode is another fav.
