Right around when the uber pause bug was introduced, I was in a faceit pug. We had to pause for some reason during the pug, and their medic (delete) had the auto-heal on so they built uber during pauses, whereas our medic (luxor) didn't have it on so no uber.

Once we unpaused, the other team realized something terrible was going on. Corsa proceeds to pause the pug during every push/mid to build uber. We would roll out to mid, and they would have uber. We would win mid and go to their last or second, they would have uber. No matter how well or poorly we played, Corsa would pause the pug and build uber so they had uber ad.

I think we tied or won the pug somehow but i honestly don't remember

my first esea open match in 2015 I accidentally pressed my killbind walking to my first mid. My face got so red...

shit literally shifted the entire match and we went on to lose

also playing gravelpit, i dont wish playing comp gravelpit on any1 its so bad

the admins put my team in prem instead of div2 where it belonged because i signed us up a day late. i even sent them a picture of me crying but it didnt change their mind. we were regularly beaten in scrims by div2 teams.

The real reason 2020 was a shit year.

That esea s24 process match where I took 12k heals on pocket and did like 205dpm or something stupid. It worked out to like 55% heals received. We had just discovered arrow building and were so bad at taking ubers that we would just arrow build -> have a shitty uber -> passive hold and start arrow building again. The match dragged on fairly deep into overtime and I just sat there shooting my feet and preparing for the inevitable shit uber and wipe.

the first copenhagen games was horribly stressful for my entire friend group
everything went wrong. we spent one of the afternoons crying at our hostel after we failed to maker dinner
for spectators that particular LAN was pretty boring. We kinda just sat around depressed
cocaine dealers outside our hostel (they were friendly tho)

not to mention the venue was so shit
they kicked all of us out after grand finals
recently was talking about it with ppl who were there (and know others that have worked with the same venue)
and apparently the venue is just known to be dogshit

There was ALWAYS that one mother fucker on your team that did not listen to the team leaders 7 posts and 5 @‘s about updating their esea client which caused the team to play 5v6 for 2 rounds minimum

One of my least favorite experiences back in Open Esea was a team-mate who worked night shift.

He would come into the mumble around 5 minutes before matches complaining, go afk to get an energy drink (at least a 7 mile journey through the himalayas.) then come back having forgot to update his client.
He also had to work right after matches, so if things went on too long he'd just leave.
