what if you made it so players who are rgl banned can play medic only and if they play 100 medic pugs they get unbanned
please change how open pugs drafts, been fatkidded 6 times in a row

elite idea

obviously implementing is easier said than done, but i think picking one player to have on your team guaranteed if you add up medic like tf2pickup.eu and/or giving you a guaranteed picking in the NEXT pug if you play 1 medic pug would be nice
Anyone see what's going on with logs after you finish a pug?
Its counting ever log for every round, seems to be an issue with control points only and luckily not with KOTH.
Don't know if its an issue with logstf or with the server provider (probably the latter).

I think that might be a logs.tf issue as I've been seeing that happen in scrims on a few different servers the last couple of days.
You probably already know this and it might be fine since you're migrating to a new ELO system, but all of the recent games I spot checked have NaN as elo adjustments post match

What happened to the priority to the people who've been added up longer. Did that like break or something.
I think after you play a medic pug you should get a special border or something like that, that grants you priority to playing in the next open pug. Similar to what Overwatch 1 did with priority requeue. I mean maybe its because I am added to one class that being Demoman but like that shouldn't matter.

NOTICE: The PUG website will be down until 9:30PM ET while we roll out the new elo update!
idk if its intentional but the pug i played today was 30 minute + overtime and 20 mins is way better if its overtime
is there an ETA on when the dedicated pug servers will be back up?
edit: saw theyre fixed now, thank you!

whenever a koth map is chosen the config doesn't update correctly and we end up with mp_winlimit 5 on koth maps
The elo favoring stats this heavily makes zero sense. You should not lose elo for losing a game. Stats should be a bonus if you win or make you lose slightly more elo if you did poorly but even then I'm curious as to know how stats are factored. Is it penalizing you for going negative on soldier?
watched yumyum sweep 3 pugs in a row and lose 20+ elo for each win last night lol
the pugs played per class may be inflated
the pugs played per class may be inflated
why am I being skipped for multiple pugs in a row? I thought there was a pity system but maybe I'm mistaken?

i think it takes into account both k/d and dpm to dtm from what ive seen, but it feels so random on how it tracks soldier performance imo. there have been matches like this https://pugs.tf.plus/history/6750f27642014feee38e0e32 where im objectively the worst soldier stats wise but somehow have a higher performance score than two other soldiers

So we all agree that expected performance is awful right? Like why is it expecting meds to get kills? And it's still possible to lose elo while winning a pug.
Loose the ELO System, when I select a player it would be nice to see what’s current, are they able to make it so we can see league history like you can on tf2 center? Those resources make it much easier and faster, if anything just do a hybrid pug system based on tf2centers design, look at the source material, take what works and make note of what’s broken.

Make me homeslice, friendo, pal! It’s not my fault people are addicted to elo systems. Shit is so stupid, if you really pay attention to trying to improve, you’re gunna be doing it in the moment. When you start getting wrapped up in status and rank you stop growing and improving.

Right now the data that the expected performance is based on is temporary until we get enough data from players declaring their league history, then we will be using stats from the pugs. Each role has a ratio of which score metrics make up the total performance score, such as prioritizing k/d less on roamer than pocket, and not considering kills for medics at all.

What’s insane is the idea of any jab you make at me is gunna have any barring on what I think or do.

logs based performance metrics are kind of cringe in general, unless someone has a sub 175 or over 400 dpm game whats the benefit of including those in calculations instead of just W/L
