Just finished watching the early access.

Great stuff, I was super impressed by how well it flowed, it summarized and made it relatively easy for a casual player or even just a person who plays video games could pick up on it.

Sal against the credits was amazing... brought a tear to my eye.

I had no seen anything about this and I was absolutely blown away. Fake (maybe real?) Keith David doing voice over, the interviews, the crowd, the incredible sound mixing over the in-game footage by Airon... man... just awesome. This was just awesome.

I really hope I can be a part of the next one, even if it's just in same small way. Bravo, I hope the community really enjoys this.

I just watched the documentary and I just want to say that it was very very well done. Thank you so much for all your hard work! :D

I'm gonna be the first to criticize this I guess. I think the progression was sort of poor, and I didn't really feel there was any narrative going on aside from the grand finals. There was also a few missed opportunities, I felt, in the editing. For example, showing off Gpit after the map was already played and done with.
There could also have been more graphics in the important games, such as flashing up saying "Game 1" etc.
I think the Dota 2 recaps and videos being played at TI3 represent very well what could have been done here.

That said, I understand how incredibly hard this was to make, and appreciate it for what it is. I think it was definitely worth the $5 I payed.

It seems like it was far too condensed for my liking, especially the semi-finals/grand finals bit. I did like the general introduction to 6s and the standard classes and maps, though.

While I enjoyed the video, I think it could have been a little longer with more gameplay. This is a documentary about our community, and it did a fantastic job at showing the human side of TF2. While I've never been to such an important LAN, I've been to a lot, and what most people don't get to experience from home was brought to life here. Very cool.

Just finished watching it. That's exactly what it needed to be. I loved it, and the bit at the end with Sal was perfect.

I'm the sort of person who'll watch a triple-A blockbuster like avatar and go "the colour grading is a little harsh here" or "oh the music fade to silence wasn't quite clean enough", but honestly, that wasn't what this was about, it was about telling a story. And I really think Luke, Airon, Sal, Extine and co have done an amazing job of that.

To be fair, I do tend to agree with most of what Turbo said. The big thing for me was that it was a little lacking in narrative. Showing Byte ramble on for a solid minute about how TF2 will never be big in the conclusion of a documentary intended to grow tf2 was pretty keyboard smashingly facepalm.

That was well worth the watch and $5. Very professional production, I think it was the right decision to do it well instead of releasing early.
